Nestled in a quiet residential area on the main street of Kentville, only 1 1/2 kilometers (one mile) west of town centre, and a pleasant 15 minute walk to Memorial Park swimming pool, tennis courts, oval track and recreation fields, Allen's Motel offers 12 modern air-conditioned units (one housekeeping, one small fully-equipped cottage, one deluxe barrier-free suite with whirlpool and optional kitchen and two second storey rooms with queen beds) on 3 acres of carefully landscaped grounds. All rooms have private baths, remote control colour TV, clock radios, coffee makers, telephones and high-speed internet connection (wired). They are all designated smoke-free! No pets please!
The large outdoor garden area, complete with waterfall, provides visitors with an enjoyable place to sit and read or just relax. There is, as well, a gas barbeque and small picnic area at their disposal. Breakfast is served to guests in the dining room from May 1 to October 31 at an additional cost of $3.50 (tax included) per person. For those looking to freshen up their wardrobe, a coin-operated laundry is located on the premises, open from May 1 to October 31.
